Yeah, that's another explanation that diet extremists often throw around—"This study doesn't support my view therefore, there must be some sort of conspiracy. Probably pharma. Or politics."

They can't tell what's wrong with a particular study so they simply file it under "It's just bad." But when they mention some idiotic "fasting book" it's somehow great "proof."
