This is why I said, "keto diet is for you only if you are making progress and you are enjoying it." I haven't met many such people nor do we see heaps of them in the literature.

If you nejoy keto, knock yourself out. If not, as you said, decreasing portion sizes in both fat and carbs is a better way to go about balanced nutrition.
