This article is so wrong that It feels wrong to comment it. Stop eating at all and see if it doesn’t make you lose weight. All those silly experiments are about losing weight without any discomfort and about other imaginary, arbitrary goals or indicators, like how to lose weight without losing muscle. Or how lose weight while not changing anything about your favourite lifestyle choices. Why do you care about weight if you are lean? Why do you care about muscle if you are obese? Those are developed world problems really and excess of limited and wrong reasoning. Go to poor countries and see if fasting for more than 16 hours is not causing weigh loss.
